They will sell a simple easy- to-sell product as Life Insurance that is already filed with the regular.
Your job will be to take ownership to recruit and develop the first batch of Point-Of-Sale-Persons. You will be given 100% leads to call for recruitment, making it easy for you to recruit.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
A) You should Acquire capabilities to succeed in this role successfully and complete the in-house training & development program to enable the new Channel Managers:
Understand IRDA regulation on POSP
Know the relevance of the channel and why the new POS channel is relevant for Company.
B) Recruit Point-Of-Sales-Persons:
You will be provided leads by a central team, you will call & pitch opportunity to become POS to these prospects
You will follow-up and get prospects who complete the training to take a simple online exam
C) Onboard Point-Of-Sales-Persons: Enabling the POSPs to seamlessly go-live on the system
Enable the agreement sign-off with the recruited POSPs and setup their code
Provide product knowledge, selling skills and operational process training to the recruited POSPs
D) Manage performance of Point-Of-Sales-Persons initially to recruit all POSPs (Hunters), after that Channel Managers (Farmers) will be made responsible for managing sales performance of group of POSPs assigned to them:
Manage the relationship with the group of POSPs and be their single point-of-contact
